Early announcement
Exhibition will be opened at 10 a.m. by the Bishop Tim of Truro and Steve Wilde, the Methodist District Organizer, attended by our MP, Dan Rogerson and the Bude and Stratton Town Mayor, with events – mixture of fun and serious - in Hall at 11.am, 12 Noon, 2.p.m. 4. p.m. and 6.p.m.
Possibilities for events: fun:
1. Jazz (Ploughshares)
2. Chairobics session with residents from Trelana, St Hilarys, Red Gables, Fairfield and Southlands, Deer Park Nursing and Old People's Homes taking part with invitations to public to join in, if wish. Could be a real inclusion/fun event involving our oldest citizens; Folk group with locally relevant songs “spit in the cut”?.
Possibilities for events: serious.
1. Bude Cinema club offered to show “An Inconvenient Truth” Al Gore's for free
2. Video of BBC2 Prog. Natural World Series A Farm For The Future, about a Farm in Devon described as “prophetic prog. about food” shown 20 Feb 2009
