Do we want a pyramid?
If you look at the Forums for Padstow, Kilkhampton, St. Eval, Marshgate, North Hill, Jacobstow and Bude you will see that each one has a photograph of Paul Sousek at the top of the page. Why? This isn't Transition-orientated at all - it is purely and simply egotism on the part of one man. (Incidently it appears that the photo was forgotten for Altarnum - I imagine they will be very disappointed).
I thought that Transition was supposed to be laterally organised, not pyramid-shaped with one man at the top.
Incidently, a couple of days agto I submitted an entry which was mildly critical, from a technical aspect, of the website construction. This hasn't been published so maybe anything which isn't in complete agreement with Paul's Doctrine doesn't see the light of day. I sincerely hope not as that would mean TransitionNC is doomed before it even gets properly started.
Has anyone else any thoughts on the necessity (or otherwise) of quite genuine items being vetoed by Paul? I thought this was supposed to be a free society - as long as we all kept within the bouds or curtesy and decency. Will be interested to see if this letter is published or not.

REPLY:
I am afraid your contribution is full of misunderstanding. Let me clear it up for you, Chas:
1. I have recently added the ability for each user to download and display a photo against their contributions. As a test I downloaded my picture. That is why it is appearing against items I created.
I am now ploughing through the website, changing the author of each of the structural building blocks from 'PaulS' to 'admin' with no picture attached. That is why some Parishes still have my pictures whilst others have already been converted.
2. Chas, your contribution is displayed where you inserted it: as a reply to one of the blogs.
3. No items are vetoed on this website, except where they breach the website guidelines (one item in the past 6 months)
