This is just a thought for consideration. The TransitionNC website appears to quite versatile and could do more to involve more people. At present virtually every entry is made by Paul and there's no reason why they shouldn't be as he is running the website. However, this does seem to be self-defeating as it doesn't realy encourage an interchange of views on different subjects by different people. On "reading" the website entries it seems to be very cluttered with considerable emphasis on economics, politics, oil, stock market issues etc. and very little on actual "transition" issues. I know you can make almost anything appear to be directly related to Transition but, again, it doesn't serve any real purpose if nobody is responding. Interesting though it may be I cannot help but feel that there is probably a very large group who want info on what to do locally and not necessarily why the American sub-prime mortgage industry has caused the current problems. Both sides need to be catered for and to be easily selectable.
Is it possible to structure the website such that there are two very distinct parts? I.e. One for the "heavy" economic/political side and one for Transition items in the way that they are generally perceived?
