£15,000 eco-makeover of your home

This weekend the Grand Designs Great British Refurb campaign joined forces with the 10:10 Campaign to launch a competition where one lucky winner will win an eco-makeover of their home to the value of at least £15,000! As a supporter of the Great British Refurb campaign we thought you would want an early opportunity to enter.

You can enter by visiting The Home of the Future website: http://www.1010uk.org/future-home?utm_source=Great+British+Refurb+Campai....

This eco-makeover could halve your energy use, halve your energy bills and halve your carbon emissions. Not a bad start on your road to a happier, more comfortable and lower carbon lifestyle - and a major contribution to reducing the UK's carbon emissions from existing homes.

The competition is being supported by Keepmoat. Knauf Insulation will be providing any insulation needed and Solarcentury have offered up to £10,000 of solar electric technology to be fitted as part of the makeover.

As Campaign Director for the Great British Refurb Campaign I'm really annoyed that I am not allowed to enter this competition. But I shall be telling my friends all about it and getting them to sign up to the Great British Refurb Campaign and enter the competition.

The winning house will play a major part in showing the way to other homeowners and politicians on what can be done. So why not enter the competition now? And please tell all your friends, family and colleagues about the Great British Refurb Campaign
