Transition News Jan 2011

Hello and welcome to TNC news.

TODAY : The Wadebridge Renewable Energy Network (WREN for short) will be open for business at the big launch at Wadebridge Town Hall on Saturday 22nd January 2011: 22Jan2011: WREN Launch at Wadebridge Town Hall. Exhibitions in the Town Hall will be open from 10.00am, and talks will start at 2.00pm from Dan Rogerson MP, from renewable energy experts, as well as the town’s political and business leaders. There will be plenty of time for questions and answers.

This promises to be an excellent event and if you are close and can at all make it, I would urge you to pop in. WREN is a groundbreaking initiative to cover most of the South facing roofs in Wadebridge with PV panels and in the process generate 30+% of Wadebridge's electricity and several hundred thousand pounds annual income for the Wadebridge community.

Go and see how you can start your own WREN in your own town or village!
