Yurt Works
Hi everyone
We're looking to forge links with in North Cornwall. Yurtworks has been up and running for eleven years and we're now branching out and increasing our range of courses.
We're running a family bushcraft and nature awareness day (not as earnest as it sounds!) throughout the summer on Mondays. This is aimed at families with children over the age of 8.
The Wildworks course includes:
farm nature walk (at South Penquite Farm, we're already linked, taking in the abundance of local wildlife and plants and their uses)
fire by friction
cooking on an open fire
stalking with stealth: games of skill for grownups and kids alike
I would be glad to hear from anyone who might want to do some joint promotion.
I'm also planning to increase the number of courses I offer in the future and am looking for venues to hold them in so if it's something that you think you might want to explore, do get in touch. We can also do group events for adults and children.
