A shame that the weather wasn't so kind, but we still enjoyed being at the Charity Fayre for the first day of Carnival week and hope we brought a splash of colour to another otherwise grey day! People took plants in return for donations, chatted and took shelter under our gazebo.

As a charity the Centre has to continually raise funds in many different and inventive ways .. this summer sees the start of weekly Curry Nights 6-8pm .. the Nepal Gurkha Restaurant is supplying curries WEDNESDAYS and SUNDAYS - take away or eat in the Bistro .. for details of dates and how to order contact the Lostwithiel Centre 01208 872207 or order online from the restaurant or ring and ask for Sunny 01726 667390

The Centre is running such a variety throughout the summer from Kernow Forno Pizzas on a Monday to the new Gourmet Burgers from 'Yums the Word' on Friday evenings .. all help to raise funds

This year it's very well supported .. we will be donating £50 to the St Bart's group who run the Book Sale alongside us during the season .. thank you to all our swappers and supporters.

A Plant Swap success story! One of our swappers took blackcurrant cuttings two years ago, now they're productive blackcurrant bushes and she was able to bring in this jar of jam! Not surprisingly, the jam went the same day...

We have had some really good shrub rescues this year as people contact us when they are remaking their gardens or removing plants they no longer want… thank you again for thinking of us.

We would love to have a few more people who are interested in running the Plant Swap stall during the summer next year .. please contact: 01208 873363

The roof is on and awaiting planting in the Autumn so look out for the call for volunteers .. if you have sedum plants which would be suitable please bring to Plant Swap or give direct to the school … more photos on our website
