The next Geology Trail will be held at Bude on Wednesday 22nd July. Meet at the Crescent Car Park Visitors Centre at 11 am.
During this walk we will look at the geology of Bude Breakwater are and then walk across Summerleaze Beach to examine the intricate folding and structures of the Bude formation between there and Crooklets Beach, where we will sit on the beach for lunch (cafe also available there and toilets).
We will then saunter back along the cliffs to Nanny Moore's Bridge and to the Wharf. A nice walk with little coastal climbing involved!
Wear the usual walking boots, etc and if you haven't already got a copy of the Guide and the accompanying Bude leaflet, then you can buy them at the Visitors Centre.
Nice easy geology, so no previous knowledge required.
