10July2015: The Power to Transform the South West

"The Power to Transform the South West – How to meet the region's energy needs through renewable energy generation." This event provides a fantastic opportunity to hear more about how Somerset is leading in this area showing that it can provide 152% of it's energy needs through renewables.

The evening is on Friday 10th July at the Glastonbury Town Hall from 5.30pm. Refreshments will be provided and there will be stalls representing some of the renewable support groups in the area. The panel will be from 6.00 - 8.00pm.

We are very pleased to welcome members of the panel - Molly Scott Cato, Green MEP for SW England; Andrew Clarke, Resilience Centre; Sonya Bedford, Head of Renewable Energy; Stephens Scown Solicitors and Tom Hathway, South West Young Greens, University of Plymouth. The team will be chaired by Jon Cousins, Deputy Mayor, Glastonbury Town Council.
