Energising and Empowering Communities Through Collaborative Research

We are very pleased to announce an open meeting of the Transition Research Network, on the theme of energy, organised in collaboration with the Energy Security in a Multipolar World Research Cluster (, at the Market House, Market Place, Kingston, Surrey from 10am to 4pm on Wednesday October 3rd.

Attendance is free and open to all, and ESMW can reimburse reasonable travel expenses. Registration is open at; more details there and in the attached flyer. Please circulate to anyone you think might be interested, and look forward to seeing some of you there.

? Providing professional support for community energy projects, through funding, technical support, strategic advice, or in any other way?
? Involved in academic research on energy and communities, and seeking to maximise its practical value by collaborating directly
with community groups?

If so, please join us at the third open meeting of the Transition
Research Network, and be part of setting a new agenda for energy research led by communities and their needs.

We will use inclusive facilitation techniques (including open space)
to ensure the meeting is dynamic and makes the most of what everyone
attending has to offer. The event is open to anyone interested in
