The Royal Geographical Society has a talk in Truro on Tuesday which your members might be interested in – its “An Energy Policy for Society” given by Professor Catherine Mitchell of Exeter University.
She aims to show what you probably already believe – that carbon emission targets can indeed be met. You might thiugh meet some kindred spirits and possible recruits?
Its in the Town Hall from 7pm; afterwards we usually repair to the Pizza Express to continue discussions.
There’s a small charge for non-RGS members, but all are welcome and the more the better. Coffee provided!
Its a struggle to keep an RGS annual talk in Cornwall at all, - bigger numbers help! So do feel welcome to swell our ranks and progress the crusade.
