Invitation to Wind Turbine Launch Event - 1st October 2011

Community Power Cornwall would like to invite you to the launch of our first community owned wind turbines at Tregerrick Farm, Gorran, Cornwall.

We will be holding an open afternoon on Saturday 1st October from:

1-3pm—Open to the public

3-5pm—Members only (to include music and pasties)

Come and join us to find out more about the installation and to get up close to the turbines.

We will be screening a short film documenting the installation,

handing out share certificates to members and taking a photo of members by the turbine with their share certificates.

Would all members please rsvp if you plan to attend and send confirmation and responses to charlotte@cep.org.uk by Monday 26th September.

- Would you like a pasty? Steak or vegan?

- Do you have any mobility issues that we need to be aware of to enable access?

We hope you can join us to celebrate the start of our journey towards securing a sustainable energy future for the people and communities of Cornwall.

Directions:

The site entrance is on the main road North of Gorran highlanes, before you reach signs for Tregarton Park campsite. Closest postcode is PL26 6NF but be aware you will pass the site following sat nav directions directly to this postcode.

The water tower and turbines are clearly visible on approach to the site and look out for the CPC sign at the field entrance off the main road.

Parking is on the field, bring wellies for wet weather!
