4Mar2010: CIEH Level 2 Award one day course

One of the requirements that has been highlighted to Environmental Skills Network (ESN) by many organisations is for an introductory or foundation level course in general environmental issues for all members of staff, but it has generally been unavailable in a suitable format until now. This is now a priority requirement for many companies across all business sectors in Cornwall.

In response to this demand, we are working in partnership with Cornwall College Business, resulting in the availability of a 1 day course that will be fully funded for eligible learners*

*Please call first to check eligibility.

As specifically environmental training, Environmental Skills Network is able to provide support for this to both environmental and other business sectors in Cornwall.

Please see a brief overview of the course below and further detailed information attached.

CIEH Level 2 Award in Environmental Principles and Best Practice

This qualification provides an awareness of key environmental concepts and an introduction to environmental management systems.

Environmental issues impact on every organisation. The rising costs of energy and raw materials, growing awareness of stakeholders and increasing environmental legislation are forcing organisations to address their own environmental performance.
