Chas's comment and the fact that we are approaching our first anniversary prompted me to look at our website stats again.

It is marvelous to see how popular TransitionNC.org is getting. As an example, in the past six months we have had

145,463 hits (up from 30,000 cumulative in January)

10,643 visits, which averages at 59 per day (up from 30 in January)

4,851 unique visitors since we started a year ago!

700+ articles, news stories, events and comments have been published by our 200+ registered users. I haven't counted them, but apparently some 270 articles are by myself. I regard it as part of my duties to collect Transition related stories from the media and other sources, and publish them here for the benefit of our visitors and users.

At the same time the website is accumulating quite an impressive collection of Resources for use within Transition groups and elsewhere, information on various Transition Solutions as applied by individual groups here or elsewhere and some other collections of information hopefully useful to both groups and individuals.

Lets have more of the same. Adding informative stories, articles and events is much more useful then yet more petty criticism from one or two of our members. Of course, those people who do not find this website of interest, need not visit it, do they?
