13 Jul: Incinerator enquiry report

Hi All,

The Inquiry resumed today at 2pm with inspector making the following
comments, Mr Moorland-Smith had ensured him that his wedding day went vey
well, and he was glad to see Mrs Rickard's operation had also gone well, in
fact she now has more mobility than the England football team. Mr Robinson
also explained that he had had two good trips to the European battlefield,
one resulting in a incident with an unexploded shell from which he escaped
unharmed.

Following this the Inspector announced that proceedings today would be
adjourned until tomorrow at 9.30am. The reason being that SITA QC Mr
Phillips's wife had a heart attack last night therefore he could not attend
today. As Mr Moorland-Smith was not up to speed on Mr Penfolds evidence on
Transport it was the inspectors decision to give Mr Moorland-Smith this
afternoon to review this evidence.

The amended programme would now be as follows,

Wednesday 14 July 9.30am X examination of SITA witness Mr J Penfold,
Transport. Kingsley.

Wednesday 28 July X examination of SITA witness Mr T Greenwood, Planning.
Restormel Borough Council Offcies, St.Austell.

Thursday 29 July X examiantion of SITA witness Mr T Greenwood, Planning.
Restormel Borough Council Offcies, St.Austell.

Friday 30 July X examination of SITA witness Mr T Greenwod, Planning.
Restormel Borough Council Offices.

Closing submissions would now be held in 1st week of October 2010 venue to
be arranged.

The inspector then made the following statements,

Requests had been received to X examine Mr Barrowcliffe's new evidence,
inspector did not think this was neccessary as this was a public doc.,
Breach of copyright by Mr Trehy, (pages of Book of St.Dennis and Goss Moor),
public inquiries are exempt from copyright rules, see section 46?, Balloon
was not at correct spot due to proximitey of Power cables, Site visits went
well. FURTHER EVIDENCE, WRITTEN AND ELECTRONIC, FROM THE PUBLIC WILL BE
ACCEPTED UP TO FOURTEEN DAYS AFTER THE END OF THE INQUIRY. Dick Cole asked
and the inspector confirmed, e-mail from PC/STIG has been accepted as
evidence.

stacks and Power Station(Oil fired), CC/07 Haul Road. Communities and Local
Government letter, example of inspectors deci
sion, Inspectors notes on scope of cases parties are putting to Inquiry,
Annexes A,B,&C., Draft Permit from EA.
SITA issued doc. C8 from Bond Pearce, agreement on S106.

Proceeding closed tody at 2.30pm.
