Grampound Road wind farm

Hallo all,

We desperately need some help for the low carbon challenge.

I have just had first encounter with a wind protester at Grampound Road.  I need as many people as we can get to write in to the planning officer, as the protester is going all out to scupper our plans.  The wind turbine planned for the Grampound Road area is the main fund raising part of the project, which really means that we cant afford defeat on this part of the Low Carbon Community challenge.

Could you please write in to the planning officer in support of the Wind Turbine, saying why it is a good idea in your opinion?  Can you persuade any others of like mind to do the same? The email address below may be used or the snail mail address.

I think the fund raising and community benefit aspects are most important, as well as the minimal impact on landscape and noise pollution (it is a very small machine, only 20kw, and rated inaudible over 50m).

The letters should be sent to Martin Woodley, at the address below, or emails to planning.central@cornwall.gov.uk   FAO Phil Mason, head of planning and regeneration Cornwall Council, Circuit House, Pydar Street, Truro, TR1 1GT.

All best

Chris
